After School Sewing Club – Crossways

Children can learn to sew in this After School Sewing Club.

There are 6 Levels, each taking 6 weeks to complete.

The children learn needle threading, how to tie a knot, straight stitch, blanket stitch, making animal pincushions and felt cushions. Then they move on to more complex designs including how to use a sewing machine and making aprons and bags. They get to choose designs and different colours for their projects.

The skills and confidence the children pick up is great to see, they love it when they can take their projects home.

This is for Crossways Junior School Children.
